A Higginsville man has been charged with a drug-related felony for allegedly selling a controlled substance.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities allege Ronnie Taylor Jr. was selling methamphetamine out of his house, which is less than 350 feet from the city park and less than 1,800 feet from Lafayette County C-1 schools.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been served and Taylor has been charged with a Class A Felony for Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location. Bond has been fixed at $75,000 cash or surety.
Taylor’s initial hearing at Lafayette County Circuit Court is pending.
