During a recent meeting of the Saline County Commission Clerk Debbie Russell said she recently took the county’s voting equipment to Springfield.

Russell said they discussed the security of the machines. She said because the county doesn’t hook up to the Internet in any way, it avoids being the victim of a possible hack. But it goes beyond that, including saving the county some money.
