A Sedalia woman who was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by authorities on May 2 was allegedly found to be in possession of controlled substances and has been charged with two counts of a drug-related felony.
According to a probable-cause statement, during a probable-cause search of the vehicle, authorities say they found a Ziplock bag containing six assorted white pills, which were identified as Hydrocodone and Lorazepam– Schedule 4 Controlled Substances.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and 37-year-old Tabatha Lynn Crawford, who was arrested at the scene and placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail, has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid. Bond has been set at $5,000 cash or surety, with special unspecified conditions.
Crawford’s initial hearing at Pettis County Circuit Court is pending.
