A Sedalia woman who allegedly was involved in and left the scene of a traffic crash on April 26, has been charged with a felony.
According to a probable-cause statement, the driver of the other vehicle suffered unspecified injuries in the crash. Kayla Dawn Martin allegedly was the driver of the suspect vehicle, a dark blue Cadillac.
According to an estimate from Bryant Motors, the crash caused nearly $6,800 damage to the victim’s vehicle.
According to online court documents, a criminal summons has been issued and 22-year-old Martin has been charged with a Class E Felony for Leaving the Scene of an Accident- Property Damage Exceeding $1,000.
Martin’s arraignment hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
