Warrensburg fire fighters put out a blaze in the kitchen at the Johnson County Care Nursing Home in the downtown area on Friday.
According to posts on the Warrensburg Fire Department’s Facebook page, all residents were evacuated from the facility and the fire was out just before 9 p.m.
Ventilation was complete and the residents were taken back into the building at about 9:45 p.m.
Personnel from several other first-responder agencies were summoned to help, including the Johnson County Ambulance District, Warrensburg Police Department and Johnson County Emergency Management.
No injuries were reported from the scene.
