A Marshall man accused of the alleged murder of a Slater resident earlier this year has another court proceeding scheduled this week in Saline County.
According to online court documents, 30-year-old Adam McAlister is facing a Class A Felony for Second-Degree Murder and an Unclassified Felony of Armed Criminal Action for the alleged murder of 31-year-old Lance Gibson on March 9. Bond has been set at $500,000 cash only with special conditions.
Online court documents also say on May 9, McAlister appeared via video with Attorney Robert Russell as Public Defender James Gray’s motion to withdraw from the case was sustained by the court.
McAlister’s cause was continued for a motion hearing at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, at the Saline County Circuit Court.
