A Marshall resident suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash involving wildlife on Monday in Saline County.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound KTM 2, driven by 36-year-old Terry Wohlgemuth, struck a deer. Wohlgemuth reportedly was ejected off the bike and struck an embankment.
Wohlgemuth was flown by AIR E.M.S. helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. Missouri Highway 41 at Nocturne Avenue.
