During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, May 21, Ward 4 Councilman Rudy Reyes said the Marshall Chamber of Commerce has made a request to have a Wine Walk from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, around the square.
In order to do that, Reyes said the chamber has requested the city suspend enforcement of an ordinance for that four-hour period.

Marshall Police Chief Mike Donnell told the council he has no problem with it, and the council approved the request.
