UPDATE: THE MISSING TEEN HAS BEEN FOUND AND IS SAFE, ACCORDING TO AN UPDATED POST ON THE BOONVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT’S FACEBOOK PAGE.
The Boonville Police Department is currently searching for a runaway teen who has been missing since midnight on Thursday, May 24, and maybe a danger to herself.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, officers spoke with the mother of 15-year-old Alyssa N. Murry, of Boonville, (left) who stated she went to Alyssa’s bedroom and noticed that she left through the window at approximately midnight on May 24. Also, a friend reportedly noticed Alyssa sitting on the front steps of the residence that evening, where she took off running toward Water Street and has not been seen or heard from since.
Alyssa was last seen wearing a black and white flannel button-up shirt, and blue jeans. Alyssa is described as a white female, about 5-foot, 6-inches tall with brown eyes and multi-colored hair which is half shaved.
