The Lighthouse Shelter Thrift Store in Marshall was tragically set aflame by an unknown suspect earlier this week, but the business is still open to offer its services for those who are in need.
Executive Director Diana Thompson said the thrift store sustained significant damage during the fire, but can be fixed over time.

Thompson added even though the store is damaged, the Lighthouse Shelter services of giving respite to victims is still available.

Thompson said The Lighthouse Shelter will move on from this tragic event and will continue to help victims of abuse by giving them a helping hand. Again, the 24-hour hotline number is (660)-202-4301.
