A Marshall man who was charged with a sex-related felony involving a juvenile in 2017 has a court proceeding scheduled for Tuesday, May 29.
According to a probable-cause statement, on May 18, 2017, a law-enforcement officer was contacted by a Saline County Children’s Division Investigator and advised of a Child Abuse/Neglect hotline report during which a 6-year-old female alleged that Kenneth Lydell Robinson, whom she referred to as “dad,” had deviate sexual contact with her.
Robinson has been charged with one count of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy- Deviate Sexual Intercourse- with a Person Less Than 12 Years Old.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled to begin at 1:15 p.m., and a jury trial in the matter is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, at Saline County Circuit Court.
