A Slater man had a felony warrant issued and was charged with sex-related felonies in Saline County on Friday, June 1.
Online court documents say 51-year-old Larry Wayne Powers has been charged with two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree and a Class E Felony for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Bond has been set at $200,000 cash only.
Powers’ initial hearing at Saline County Circuit Court is pending.
