An area law-enforcement agency is investigating after receiving a report of property damage.
According to a release from the Marshall Police Department, a man said he went by a private swimming pool he owns on a property in the 1100 block of Westport Drive at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 3. He noticed screens to the pool house had been damaged; the garden hose had been turned on and left running; and trash was thrown around in the area.
The man said he was contacted by a neighbor who said there were individuals inside the swimming-pool area at about 3 a.m. on June 3. The victim told authorities nobody is allowed inside the pool area after 10 p.m.
The owner estimates the damage to be about $500.
