A Lexington woman has been charged with multiple counts of a drug-related felony for being in possession of several different kinds of pills allegedly not prescribed to her after a traffic stop on Tuesday, June 5, in Ray County.
According to a probable-cause statement, during a consented search of her vehicle and property, authorities found three different kinds of pills and 30 packages of single-use Suboxone Sublingual film– all being controlled substances. The woman reportedly said she had prescriptions but did not have any prescriptions with her.
Online court documents say 34-year-old Corie Ann Wilson, who was arrested at the scene, has been charged with four counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid and two driving-related misdemeanors. Bond has been set at $5,000, with 10-percent allowed.
Wilson’s initial hearing at Ray County Circuit Court is pending.
