Nine of 22 persons indicted stemming from an undercover investigation by the MUSTANG Drug Task Force and the Boonville Police Department have been formally charged with drug-related felonies.
According to a post on the police department’s Facebook page, during the investigation, officers reportedly seized marijuana, powder and crack cocaine, methamphetamine and prescription drugs.
Formally charged are: 26-year-old Dorian D. Hill, 55-year-old Larry A. Moore, 21-year-old Chad D. Hatley, 39-year-old Justin K. Smith, 21-year-old Rebecca L. Killian, 28-year-old David J. McKee, 64-year-old Fave D. Robinson, 24-year-old Austin A. Derushia and 33-year-old Aaron L. Robinson, all of Boonville.
According to online court documents, warrants have been served and Moore has been charged with two counts of a Class A Felony for Distributing a Controlled Substance Near Schools and a Class C Felony for Distributing or Delivering of Not More Than Five Grams of Marijuana; Smith with two counts of a Class A Felony for Distributing a Controlled Substance Near Schools and a Class A Felony for Distribution of a Controlled Substance Near Public Housing or Other Governmental Assisted Housing; Hill, Aaron Robinson, Derushia and McKee each with two counts of a Class A Felony for Distributing a Controlled Substance Near Schools; Fave Robinson and Killian with a Class A Felony for Distributing a Controlled Substance Near Schools; and Hatley with a Class B Felony for Distribution, Delivery, Manufacturing or Producing or Attempt to Possess with Intent to Distribute, Deliver, Manufacture or Produce a Controlled Substance. Bond for each has not been set yet.
An initial hearing for each at Cooper County Circuit Court is pending.
The Facebook post says authorities still are seeking to locate nine other suspects. To find out more about that, visit the Boonville Police Department’s Facebook post. The names of the other suspects will not be released by KMMO per station policy due to no charges being filed.
