A Marshall man charged with sex-related felonies involving a juvenile is scheduled to be in court this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, 43-year-old Monoleto Ontario Morand is alleged to have solicited and attempted to engage in inappropriate sexual acts with a juvenile male on more than one occasion.
According to online court documents, Morand has been charged with an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree with a Victim Less Than 12 Years Old and an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree.
During Morand’s preliminary hearing on Wednesday, June 6, the court found probable cause, and the case has been bound over to Division 4.
Morand’s arraignment hearing is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 11, at Saline County Circuit Court.
