A 42-year-old Richmond woman has been charged with felonies after allegedly stabbing another person during an incident on Saturday, June 9.
According to a probable-cause statement, the victim reportedly had suffered a puncture wound in his back consistent with being stabbed with a knife. When the victim was at the hospital, it was discovered he also had suffered a stab wound to his right triceps.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Venessa Danyel Wooten has been charged with two counts of a Class B Felony for Domestic Assault in the First Degree and two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash only, with special unspecified conditions.
An initial hearing for Wooten at Ray County Circuit Court is pending.
