Four area residents sustained injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Cooper County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 16-year-old Matthew Garbarz, of Tipton, reportedly traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Garbarz and a 15-year-old passenger, of Tipton, each suffered minor injuries, while passengers– 17-year-old Eryn Capestro, of Warrensburg, and 18-year-old Aubree Schuster, of Tipton, each suffered moderate injuries. All of the injured persons reportedly were transported by ambulance or private vehicle to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City for treatment.
The crash happened at about 3:20 p.m. on Old 112 Road, three-tenths of a mile north of Tipton Drive.
