An Odessa woman charged with multiple felonies after allegedly injuring a law-enforcement officer last year in Lafayette County, is scheduled to be in court next week.
Online court documents say Zoy Butler, who is now 32, is facing a Class B Felony for Second-Degree Assault on a Special Victim; two counts of a Class D Felony for Endangering the Welfare of a Child; two counts of a Class E Felony for Resisting or Interfering with an Arrest for a Felony; a Class E Felony for First-Degree Property Damage; an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action; as well as three counts of a misdemeanor for fourth-degree assault. Butler allegedly drove erratically, hit a patrol car and injured a deputy in August 2017.
Court documents also say Butler is scheduled to appear for a plea hearing at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 18, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
