A Kansas City man was killed in a traffic crash in Lafayette County on Saturday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound Harley Davidson, driven by 43-year-old Robert Crowley, reportedly tried to pass an eastbound Chrysler Town and Country, driven by 44-year-old Terri Milburn, of Lexington, which was attempting to make a left turn. The front of the motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the car. Both vehicles traveled off the left side of the roadway, and Crowley was ejected off the bike.
Crowley was pronounced deceased at 1:30 p.m. at Lafayette Regional Health Center. Milburn was transported to Lafayette Regional Health Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash happened just before 12:20 p.m. on Missouri Highway 224 at 25th Street in Lexington.
