A Marshall man accused of murdering a Slater resident earlier this year has another court proceeding scheduled for this week.
According to online court documents, 30-year-old Adam McAlister is facing a Class A Felony for Second-Degree Murder and an Unclassified Felony of Armed Criminal Action for allegedly killing 31-year-old Lance Gibson on March 9. Bond has been set at $500,000 cash only with special conditions. McAlister’s motion for bond reduction was denied by the court on May 24.
McAlister is due for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, at Saline County Circuit Court.
