Two area residents sustained injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Johnson County on Tuesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 58-year-old Nelda Brillhart, of Kingsville, reportedly pulled into the path of and was struck in the passenger’s side by an eastbound vehicle, driven by 33-year-old Jessica Jones, of Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster.
Brillhart and Jones each suffered minor injuries. Brillhart reportedly refused treatment at the scene, while Jones was transported by Johnson County ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment.
The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 50 at Route W.
