A Gravois Mills woman was killed in a traffic crash in Morgan County on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Jessi Wells, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Wells, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at 11:58 p.m. by a doctor at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. on Bass Point Road, just east of Woodcrest Avenue.
