Saline County Treasurer Marty Smith was at the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, June 21, and gave the County-Aid Road Trust (C.A.R.T.) Report.

Northern District Commissioner Richard Clemens read off how the money is being divvied up to the communities and road districts in the county.

In an action taken during the meeting, commissioners approved Sheryl Hager to be hired as a part-time office manager in the public administrator’s office. Hager will work no more than 28 hours per week, and is scheduled to begin on July 2.
