According to a post on its Facebook page, the Sedalia Police Department recently has noticed an increase in thefts from vehicles.
Authorities are urging residents to make sure their vehicle doors are locked, and all items of value– such as guns and/or money– are removed from the vehicle at night.
If you see anyone acting suspicious around a vehicle, you are urged to immediately contact the police with a description of the person(s).
