An Armstrong teen suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Howard County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 17-year-old Drew Whitley, reportedly struck the rear of another westbound vehicle, driven by 60-year-old Serese Wiehardt, as Wiehardt was preparing to navigate a right turn.
While Wiehardt reportedly was not injured, Whitley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Howard County E.M.S to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened just before 12 p.m. on Missouri Highway 240, one-half mile north of County Road 225.
