A 65-year-old Carrollton man who has been charged with two felonies relating to a shooting incident earlier this year, is due in court on Wednesday, June 27.
According to a probable-cause statement, on February 16, a person sustained two gunshot wounds, which required him to undergo multiple surgeries. Rex Stacy allegedly shot the person during an altercation at his residence.
Online court documents say Stacy has been charged with a Class A Felony for First-Degree Assault-Causing Serious Physical Injury and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action.
Stacy is scheduled to appear for a hearing at 9 a.m. at Carroll County Circuit Court.
