Cybersecurity was a major point of discussion during a recent meeting of statewide county clerks, according to Saline County Clerk Debbie Russell. During a recent meeting of the county commission, Russell explained some of what they talked about.
Russell said some of that money will trickle down to the county.
Russell said the county is in about as good of shape as it can be at this point. She said the county server “has a great firewall, and we don’t hook up to the internet…
In other news from Russell, she said the county received a check from the state for $1,115.50 to go into the county’s special elections’ fund for work the county has done with voter registration system. She said the money will be spent to cover some election costs to help spare the county’s revenue.
