A Sweet Springs man who allegedly had forcible sex with a 14-year-old female has been charged with a couple of felonies.
According to a probable-cause statement, on June 19, the girl’s mother reported to authorities the incident had happened a few weeks before at city park in Sweet Springs.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and 27-year-old Kenneth L.A. Walden has been charged with Class D Felonies for Statutory Rape in the Second Degree and Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash only, with special unspecified conditions.
Walden’s initial appearance at Saline County Circuit Court is pending.
