A Carrollton teen who has been charged with a sex-related felony involving a juvenile is due in court on Wednesday, June 27.
According to a probable-cause statement, a child told authorities that 17-year-old Corbin L. Gilmer engaged in the sexual act at a residence in the 100 block of West 6th Street around May 20, 2018. Gilmer originally denied the accusation but then reportedly told authorities in detail what had happened.
According to online court documents, Gilmer has been charged with an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy- Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Person Less Than 12 Years Old.
Gilmer, who entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment on June 4, is scheduled to be in court for a hearing at 9 a.m. at Carroll County Circuit Court.
