Area residents can schedule an appointment to drop off their household hazardous waste items in Marshall on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
Saline County Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. reminded residents about the opportunity during a recent meeting of the commission. He said the event now will be handled by the city of Marshall, and the phone number to make your appointment has changed.
Guthrey said several items will be accepted, but some will not.
The fourth Wednesday of this month is June 27. After setting up your appointment, you will drop off your items at 26523 245th Road in Marshall.
