A Salisbury resident sustained serious injuries in a traffic crash in Boone County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 33-year-old Lindsey Levett, reportedly traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment, became airborne, traveled over a creek and collided with another embankment. Debris from her vehicle reportedly struck another vehicle, but nobody in that vehicle was injured.
Levett, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Boone County E.M.S. to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at about 2:45 p.m. on Highway 63 at the north junction of Old Highway 63.
