At its monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 27, the Glasgow School Board approved several items.
According to a release from the district, the board approved a similar pay raise in percentage for the administrative staff that previously had been approved for all certified and non-certified staff.
The board also approved the facility-lease certificates through LJ Hart to assist with upcoming facility improvements; and several invoices pertaining to facility improvements, including new exterior doors to the gymnasium and additional security cameras– interior and exterior– to increase safety and security.
In addition, the board approved a new sound system for the multipurpose room; a bid from Frech Paving for asphalt work to be completed in the next few weeks; and final revisions to the 2017-18 budget and a preliminary budget for the 2018-19 school year.
