A Hardin resident who allegedly drove away from an attempted traffic stop and fled inside a house has been charged with a felony.
According to a probable-cause statement, a Ray County Deputy attempted to make the stop on June 29, and the driver of the vehicle, Blair Streeter, sped away and led a pursuit that reportedly reached speeds of approximately 100 miles per hour. Once he reached a residence in the 20500 block of Route JJ, Streeter exited the vehicle and ran inside. The deputy followed with his weapon drawn, and eventually took Streeter into custody.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Streeter has been charged with a Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest, Detention or Stop by Fleeing, Creating a Substantial Risk of Serious Injury or Death to any person and three driving-related misdemeanors. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash only, with special unspecified conditions.
Streeter’s initial appearance at Ray County Circuit Court is pending.
