A couple of bills were approved during the meeting of the Higginsville Board of Aldermen on Monday, July 2.
City Administrator Jeanette Dobson says the first pertains to a development agreement with Compass Health, Inc.- a Missouri nonprofit corporation.

Dobson said ground breaking for the facility at Spruce and 19th Streets is tentatively set for July 31.
Dobson said the second bill involves a conditional-use permit.

In other news, the board approved a resolution to adopt the Lafayette County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan.
