A Blue Springs resident suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash in Pettis County on Thursday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound Suzuki, driven by 47-year-old Rusty Lloyd, reportedly traveled off the roadway, struck a road sign, a ditch and overturned.
Lloyd reportedly was flown by Staff for Life helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at about 12:15 p.m. on Route V, west of Bahner Road.
