Dr. Norris W. Preston, age 85, formerly of Marceline, died Sunday, July 8, 2018.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Marceline.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7p.m. on Friday, July 13, at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Living Memorial Scholarship.

Dr. Preston is survived by one son, James and Wife Cindy of Ava; one stepson, Kevin of Florida; Grandchildren, Lucian, Reggie, Mike, Bryan, Jimmy and Brandi; one great-granddaughter, Marli; serval cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Peggy Schaeffer and one daughter, Lucinda Nute-Ellis.
