Nine blue ribbons were given out during the public speaking and demonstration events at the Saline County Fair on Saturday, July 7.
According to a news release, Haley Baker (FFA prepared speaking), Cole Murphy (senior prepared speaking), Andi Gooden (intermediate prepared speaking), Ty Murphy (junior prepared speaking), Nikki Gooden (senior extemporaneous speaking), Andi Gooden (intermediate extemporaneous speaking) were named grand champions. Josey Bartlett was named grand champion in the intermediate dramatic interpretation class.
All but Baker have qualified for state competition.
