During the meeting of the Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen on Monday, July 9, aldermen made some changes to the renovation project of the city’s pool.
City Clerk Michelle Fuehring explains.
Fuehring said the city’s taxpayers approved $805,000 could be spent, but after the fees to the bonding company, funds available are less at about $765,000.
In a procedural action taken, Fuehring said because Franny Vaught is now the city’s mayor, he was authorized to sign an updated resolution involving the city’s lagoon.
