Hazel Alice Shivers, age 95, of Sedalia and formerly of Salem, died Sunday, July 15, 2018.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 20, at Freedom Cemetery near Camdenton.

Friends may pay their respects and sign the guest book from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

Memorials are suggested to Freedom Cemetery.

Surviving are two nephews and two nieces, Russell Lucas (Vickie), of Edmundson, MO, Linda Intelmann, of Sedalia, James Lucas (Valorie), of Grand Junction, CO, and Glenda Muschany (J.D.), of Lebanon; several great-nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, Jim Shivers; cousins; and an abundance of friends.

In addition to her husband, Ezra Shivers, and parents, George and Grace (Mansfield) McDowell, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd McDowell; a sister, Kathleen Lucas; and a niece, Jan Patrick.
