James Harold Brockman, age 74, Cole Camp, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. Burial, with military honors by American Legion Post No. 305, will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Cole Camp Museum, American Legion Post No. 305, or St. John’s Lutheran Church in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

He is survived by: his wife, Judy Brockman of the home; his daughter, Jill Baker of Raymore; his sons, Jared (Sonja) Brockman and their daughters, Reese, Jaisa, and Audrey of Mt. Vernon and Jay (Samantha) Slack and daughter Emma of Florida; two sisters, Joyce Heckman and Mary (Merle) Lickteig, both of Overland Park, Kansas; a brother, Joe (Jan) Brockman of Stover; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Thelma Brockman.
