Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt gave an update on an ongoing roadwork project during the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, July 16.

Brandt also asked the council to approve a recommendation for a bid for slurry seal.

Brandt said the city is looking at 53,000 square yards, which figures up to $139,920– very close to what has been budgeted.
Brandt’s motion to accept the bid from Pavement Management, LLC, was approved by the council.
