A Marceline woman has been charged with a drug-related felony after reportedly selling a controlled prescription medication to an informant earlier this year in Linn County.
A probable-cause statement says 35-year-old Johnna Frank reportedly sold five morphine sulfate pills to a confidential informant at a residence in the 300 block of East Gracia Avenue in Marceline in March 2018. The pills sold are a Schedule 2 controlled prescription medication.
A warranted search was executed at the residence on July 4, where law enforcement found more morphine sulfate pills, a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Online court documents say Frank has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance with bond set at $20,000 cash or surety.
Frank’s initial hearing at Linn County Circuit Court is pending.
