O.K. “Bud” Franklin, age 97, of Miami, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Memorial graveside services, with military rites, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the Saline Animal League in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Survivors include: twin grandsons, Matt Franklin, of Marshall, and Ty Franklin, of Columbia; one granddaughter, Cindy Browning, of Liberty; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Lexie Browning; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy G. Franklin and Helen Sneathen Franklin; Bud was preceded in death by two sons, Rory Franklin and Lynn Franklin; two brothers, Jim Franklin and Roy Franklin Jr.
