Joyce Lee (Sandy) Jarrett, age 64, of Jefferson City, died Monday, July 23, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Inurnment will follow at the Crown Hill Cemetery columbarium.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, a charity which Joyce supported.

Surviving are two children, Christine Knipp, of Joplin, and Stephanie Woolery, of Eldon; six grandchildren, Brittany, Andrea, Morgan, Colby, Cayce and Charlotte; one great-granddaughter, Della; a sister, Sally Crews, of Sedalia; and a brother, John Sandy (Carol), of Sedalia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Lewis Sandy and Mary J. (Hodler) Sandy; a grandson, Alex; and three sisters, Pamela Sandy, Sue Mittenburg and Mary Sandy.
