In order to get a refresher and review board procedures, the Marshall School Board was asked to approve the hiring of a consultant during its meeting on Tuesday, July 24.
Board member Erin Williams explained it’s something that’s not out of the ordinary.

The board approved the motion to hire the consultant, and that meeting– which could be one or two hours– will take place following the next regular board meeting.
The board approved a change in the start time for its next meeting, with the annual tax-rate hearing beginning at 5 p.m., and the regular board meeting to start at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21.
