John Edgar Blaylock, age 80, of Sedalia, died Thursday, July 26, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 3, at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Besides his wife of fifty-four years, Clara Faye Tucker, he is survived by his two children, John W. Blaylock of Sedalia and Josh Blaylock of Taft, CA; sister Alice Bruehl (Albert) of Sedalia; six grandchildren, Heather, Megan, Lauren, Dustin, Brice, and Joshua; and four great-grandchildren, Shayla, Shyra, Dayton, and Lucas; step-great-grandchild Dylan; and many extended family and friends.

Besides his parents, Harold Edgar and Mary Susan (Rhoads) Blaylock, he was preceded in death by his brother George Ronnie Blaylock.
