George C. Derendinger, age 91, of Franklin, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, at Clarks Chapel Church in Franklin. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 3, at Howard Funeral Home in Boonville.

George was preceded in death by his parents, John and Augusta; wife, Elaine; daughter, Christy Solomon; and brothers, Fred, Ernest and Edgar Derendinger.

He is survived by his children, Michael Lee Derendinger (Sharon), of Holts Summit, Daniel George Derendinger (Debi), of Boonville, Melody Jo Derendinger (Garry Francis), of Boonville, and Shelly Lynn Riehn (Mike), of Cassville; son-in-law, Steve Solomon, of Boonville; brother, Charlie Derendinger, of Lone Elm; grandchildren, Tiffany Moton (John), Patrick Solomon (Denise), Erica Breshears (Ronnie), Kevin Derendinger (Anita), Aaron Derendinger (Babs), Whitney Derendinger (Deb), Emily Derendinger, Rachel Lock (Ryan), Daniel Derendinger Jr. (Mayumi), David Derendinger (Trina), Nathan Riehn and Laney Riehn; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Travis, Emma, Joshua, Blake, Mckinzy, Alex, Wyatt, Jacob, Sydney, Eden, Kassen, Oliver, Dorothy, Augie, Carl, Heidi, Ilsebet, Boz and Georgia; and great-great grandchildren, Kaelynn and Huntlee.
