A Windsor man has been charged with multiple sex-related felonies after three juvenile victims accused him of inappropriate touching during two separate incidents last month in Henry County.
A probable-cause statement says on July 18, three female victims told authorities about being inappropriately touched by 43-year-old Christopher Hidy during a sleepover and pool party held at a residence in Windsor on July 2 and 7. One victim detailed an incident of being awoken by Hidy touching her, and she told him to stop or she would scream. Reportedly, the victim used her cell phone to record Hidy expressing remorse for his actions and not to tell anyone.
Online court documents say Hidy has been charged with three counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy-Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Person Less than 14 Years Old; two counts of a Class C Felony for Third-Degree Child Molestation; and a Class D Felony for Tampering or Attempt to Tamper with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution. Bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety.
Hidy’s initial hearing at Henry County Circuit Court is pending.
