Two Illinois residents have been charged with drug-related felonies after authorities allegedly seized several drug-related items during a probable-cause search of a vehicle that was parked at the Saline County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, August 1.
According to authorities, they found 10 THC cartridges; a glass container containing marijuana wax; a clear plastic bag containing 15 grams of marijuana; a container holding a marijuana joint; and other drug-related items.
According to online court documents, occupants of the truck, 27-year-old Mauderie Danielle Forbes, of Fairview, and 59-year-old John Scott, of Belleville, each has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana and two drug-related misdemeanors. Cash-only bond has been set at $10,000 for Scott and $7,500 for Forbes.
Each subject was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday, August 2, at Saline County Circuit Court. No other information is available at this time.
